Verum Health
FAQ

The questions worth asking before you begin.

Direct answers. No deflection. If the answer to a question is that we don't know yet, we'll say so.

The Prescription Process
You complete your HIPAA-secure health intake at verumhealth.com/consult. A physician reviews your submission within 24–48 business hours. If you're a candidate, you receive a consultation scheduling email. The virtual consultation is 15–20 minutes with your assigned NP or MD. Your prescription is issued at the conclusion of that consultation if eligibility is confirmed. Your order is unlocked. Your protocol ships from our pharmacy partner within 3–5 business days of prescription issuance.
Our pharmacy partner is a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy regulated by the applicable state pharmacy board and operating under FDA guidelines. State pharmacy board licensure is publicly verifiable through each state's board of pharmacy website. DEA registration is verifiable through the DEA registration system. We can provide verification documentation upon request through our contact page.
If your intake reveals a contraindication or condition that makes a Verum Health protocol inadvisable, the reviewing physician will notify you with an explanation. We do not issue prescriptions when clinical appropriateness cannot be confirmed. No charge is made for the intake review in these cases.
Shipping & Delivery
After prescription issuance, your order is processed and dispensed by our pharmacy partner within 1–2 business days. Standard shipping is 3–5 business days. Protocols requiring refrigeration ship with appropriate cold-chain packaging. You receive a tracking number once your order ships. Total time from prescription to delivery is typically 4–7 business days.
Reorders are managed through your patient portal. A follow-up physician check-in is required at protocol completion before continuation is authorized. Your physician may adjust dosing or protocol based on outcome review. A reorder notification is sent 10 days before your protocol completes. The refill consultation is typically brief — 5–10 minutes — unless your physician has clinical questions.
Privacy & Compliance
All health information submitted through Verum Health is protected under HIPAA. We use HIPAA-compliant intake forms (Jotform HIPAA tier), a HIPAA-eligible patient record system (Cerbo GHR), and HIPAA-friendly email automation (Klaviyo). Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) are executed with all vendors handling protected health information. No third-party analytics cookies are placed on pages where health data is entered.
Peptides are short-chain amino acid sequences that interact with specific physiological systems. Many peptides are FDA-approved drugs. The peptides dispensed through Verum Health are compounded under 503A pharmacy frameworks, which require a valid physician prescription for each patient. Their legal status is governed by the regulatory framework applicable to compounding pharmacies. We recommend reviewing our Science page for a full explanation of the compounding model.
All clinical claims on the Verum Health platform use FTC-compliant outcome language — "may support," "in clinical settings has been associated with," "results vary," and "individual outcomes may differ." We do not make absolute health claims or guarantee outcomes. All protocol copy is reviewed by licensed medical professionals before publication. We maintain a strict policy of never using testimonials without FTC-compliant disclosures.
Pricing & Logistics
Protocol pricing includes the consultation, prescription issuance, pharmacy dispensing, and shipping. Pricing varies by protocol and prescribed dosage. Consultation fees are disclosed before booking. Protocol pricing is presented at cart unlock following prescription issuance. Contact our team for practitioner referral pricing and volume inquiry.
Yes. Licensed practitioners — MDs, DOs, NPs, and other licensed clinicians — can establish a referral relationship with Verum Health. The practitioner referral pathway is designed to make it simple to refer patients without putting your license at risk. Contact us through the practitioner inquiry form on our Contact page to begin the conversation.
Consultation fees are non-refundable once the physician review has been initiated. Protocol orders that have been dispensed by the pharmacy are non-returnable due to the prescription and pharmaceutical nature of the products. Orders that have not yet been dispensed may be cancelled by contacting our support team. Contact us at the earliest opportunity if you need to make changes to your order. Full cancellation and refund terms are available in our Terms of Use.
Yes — a prescription is required, and yes, this is entirely legal. Verum Health operates exclusively within the U.S. prescription model. Every protocol requires a physician evaluation and a valid prescription issued by a licensed U.S. physician before anything is dispensed. Compounds are prepared by a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy and shipped under a valid prescription. We do not sell, ship, or dispense anything without physician authorization. If you're ever in doubt, ask your primary care physician — they'll confirm this is the right way to access these compounds.
Orders ship directly from our licensed pharmacy partner via USPS Priority or UPS, depending on the compound and your location. Most orders arrive within 3–5 business days of prescription issuance. Temperature-sensitive compounds are shipped in insulated packaging with cold packs when required. Our pharmacy is licensed to ship to most U.S. states — state licensure can be verified at /licensure. We do not currently ship internationally.
The difference is everything that matters. Research-grade peptides sold online are not pharmaceutical grade, not tested for sterility or endotoxins, and not legal to inject. They're sold as "not for human use" — which means zero quality oversight and zero liability if something goes wrong. Verum Health protocols are compounded by a licensed 503A pharmacy under USP standards, issued under a physician's prescription, and tested for purity, potency, and sterility. You're not buying a research chemical — you're getting a pharmacy-dispensed medication.
Results vary by protocol, individual health status, dosing, and lifestyle. That said, most patients on GLP-1 protocols (Semaglutide/Tirzepatide) report measurable weight changes within 4–8 weeks. GH secretagogue protocols (CJC-1295/Ipamorelin, Sermorelin) typically show noticeable changes in sleep quality, recovery, and body composition within 6–12 weeks. Recovery peptides like BPC-157/TB-500 are often felt within 2–4 weeks for acute injuries. NAD+ protocols often report energy and cognitive effects within days of infusion. Your physician will set realistic expectations during your consultation based on your specific goals and health history.
